General Manager Transformation – Transformation Office

As our General Manager Transformation reporting to the Group Chief Operating Officer and will establish and lead our Transformation Office in changing and uplifting the culture, risk management and regulatory compliance systems, and operating processes. Through defining success metrics, they will evaluate change and engagement, ensuring our action articulates a clear and compelling vision of our future.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will keep pace with the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape and changing community expectations, while supporting The Star’s Corporate Strategy and Remediation Plan.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Implement recommendations from external reviews to deliver effective program, change and project management of the Star’s remediation plans
  • Develop and deliver the roadmap for the transformation and change, adapting and applying flexibility as required by business priorities
  • Ensure all aspects of the transformation, change and engagement process, projects, and working groups are appropriately resourced both within the Transformation Team and the broader business
  • Be responsible for leading the creation and delivery of the transformation, change, communication and engagement plans for the business
  • Effectively guide various programs and teams through the proposed transformation, change and engagement approach, interpreting impacts, benefits, risks and challenges, creating solutions to mitigate resistance
  • Own internal and external stakeholder management (with input from the Group COO)

 

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, business or relevant qualification
  • Experience at a senior executive level, within a large, complex, regulated organisation
  • Cultural or People transformation leadership experience is essential
  • Understanding of relevant risk, regulatory and compliance obligations
  • Ability to apply sound analysis to evidence-based business cases and financial data to inform and adapt resourcing and timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

You are a program and project management professional, with demonstrated ability in leading and inspiring diverse teams through robust frameworks and governance to exceed identified goals and milestones. Leveraging your well-developed skillset, you confidently collaborate within a matrix structure to transform behaviours, systems and processes to achieve the cross function change required to achieve future state

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our group wide cultural transformation and remediation plan.
