As a Count Cashier, you will be responsible for the collection of note stackers from gaming machines, counting, and sorting of coins and notes as well as the destruction of used gaming equipment such as cards. This physically demanding role works under constant camera and audio surveillance so a high attention to detail is crucial. 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will lead with integrity, ensuring compliance in all aspects of your role.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Collection of the drop boxes and note stackers from the gaming machines and table games
  • Sorting, counting and verifying the contents of the drop boxes and note stackers while maintaining accurate reports
  • Pre-shuffle and pre-check the new and recycled cards
  • Destruction of used gaming equipment (including cards)

What we are looking for:

  • Previous high volume money handling or banking experienced highly regarded
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills along with guest service experience
  • Comfortable working within a small team in a confined space
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Availability for early morning starts each day including weekends and public holidays (4am starts)
