Join our team as a Facility Cleaner at The Star Brisbane.

The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.
 
This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

The Facilities Cleaner role reports directly to the Facilities Operations Manager and offers an extraordinary opportunity to make an impact to our Property Operations by supporting the property to maintain an outstanding world class standard that ensures our Guest and Team Members comfort and satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all front and back of house areas are well maintained using appropriate cleaning techniques.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of front and back of house across our property
  • The use of specialised cleaning machinery
  • Cleaning up spills and hazardous materials
  • Maintaining the dignity of our guests and team members

What we will be looking for

• Prior experience in a similar role with a high level of attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to commit to a rotating 24/7 roster
• An enthusiastic and positive attitude
• The ability to work as a part of a team and communicate effectively

The successful candidates will thrive on efficiency and enjoy working and interacting with guests. You will have a strong sense of time management and have a keen eye for detail!

About us

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
