As our Senior Management Accountant, reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager you will deliver high quality, customer service-oriented management accounting services for The Star Entertainment Group ensuring delivery to deadlines, effective business partnering and compliance with Group policies.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will work closely with finance business partnering teams to develop engagement plans.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Promote collaboration among all finance support teams within The Star, facilitating effective communication and accountability within Accounting Services to achieve company objectives.
  • Supervise, mentor and coach your team to deliver excellence and consistency in data management and management accounting.
  • Provide effective business partnering by prioritising data accuracy, financial expertise, commercial outcomes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Provide support for internal/external audits and any due diligence work (as required)
  • Identify and implement initiatives to achieve alignment, standardisation and excellence in reporting and analysis.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Strong numeracy and communication skills, with a proven track record of meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with building relationships and effectively engaging stakeholders
  • Over 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role coupled with a CA/CPA qualification
  • Proficient in MS Excel with advanced skills, along with experience using large ERP systems such as Oracle and TM1
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and surpassing set KPIs and targets
