The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

Our menu features elevated classic comfort dishes that will tantalize the taste buds, including delectable antipasto, artisanal woodfire pizzas, and homemade pasta, all served in a relaxed atmosphere with breathtaking views.

We’re on the lookout for passionate Food & Beverage Attendants who possess skills in crafting exquisite cocktails, curating the perfect wine selections, and delivering elevated service. If you share our enthusiasm for Italian cuisine and hospitality, we want you on our opening team!

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Prepare food and beverage for guests whilst creating a thrilling, memorable guest experience
  • Consistently demonstrate relevant restaurant sequence of service
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with statutory and company hygiene requirements
  • Perform the duties of an usher by greeting and escorting guests to assigned seating section
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and promote effective communication

What we are looking for:

  • Open to individuals who are new to the industry 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability with weekends essential 
  • Current QLD RSA Statement of Attainment

You are passionate about hospitality, with a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome and valued. You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and your positive, can-do attitude and professional presentation make you an asset to any team.
