As a Property Operations Supervisor for our second residential tower, you will play a pivotal role in setting up the residential rooms, overseeing the day-to-day operations and effective delivery of strategic and functional outcomes for the Property Operations teams. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising a team of handypeople, ensuring adherence to stringent safety standards, maintaining open communication with stakeholders, and driving operational excellence to achieve efficient completion of all required maintenance works. 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your leadership expertise throughout at The Star Gold Residences. 

Please note this is a 12-month maximum-term contract commencing mid-February 2025. 

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Undertake in-room set ups ahead of the opening of our new Residential Tower
  • Coordinate resource allocation during each shift, ensuring seamless operations 
  • Set clear and measurable performance objectives for your team, closely supervising task completion 
  • Collaborate with other departments, owners, tenants and guests to coordinate seamless operations and address any requests promptly and professionally 
  • Managing hotel preventive and reactive maintenance needs, including room refresh projects.
  • Embrace a hands-on approach, pitching in when needed to maintain the exceptional standards of The Star Gold Coast 
  • Oversee and maintain the store and inventory of critical parts while effectively managing associated costs.

What are we looking for: 

  • Trade qualifications in Building or Maintenance (essential) 
  • Experience in a Property Supervisory role, ideally in a fast-paced environment 
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with various stakeholders 
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience within a Body Corporate environment (highly regarded but not essential)
