As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the impeccable standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests have come to expect. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of dedicated housekeepers, ensuring efficient operations, and fostering an environment of excellence.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Lead and motivate a team of housekeepers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent high-quality service delivery
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning standards across assigned areas, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to protocols
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies are available while optimising resource utilisation
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate seamless operations and address any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally
  • Embrace a hands-on approach, pitching in when needed to maintain the exceptional standards of The Star Gold Coast

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in housekeeping operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in handling diverse situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational demands
