As our Senior Applications Analyst, reporting to the Application Performance Manager, you will Ensure stability, availability, reliability and usability of production systems, platforms and applications through the fast resolution of incidents & problems and improvements in performance and end user knowledge.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will Perform technical application work including application programming and maintaining application software.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Work with Operations and Infrastructure teams to determine and resolve problems at the second/third level.
- Manage the escalation and involvement from vendors for incidents, problems and changes relating to supported systems, platforms and applications
- Work with Operations and Infrastructure teams to ensure management of all applications installations, maintenance and problems.
- Meet with user groups to gather and analyse end user requirements.
- Analyse workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement.
What we are looking for:
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in IT, or relevant business environment, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications
- Proven ability to operate in a complex, fast paced, multi-level Information Technology environment
- Working knowledge of Product Development, Process Development and Improvement or Operations management is highly desirable
- Ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Good understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle.
