The Venue Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and offers an extraordinary opportunity to both lead and inspire operations at Jade Rabbit and Cherry Bar, providing a positive and memorable guest experience. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your general product and technical knowledge to deliver a wonderful experience for our guests, leading with a hands-on approach that demonstrates efficiency while taking good care.  

 

A few of your responsibilities:   

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the venues including selection, training, coaching and development of all team members to ensure timely recruitment and career growth
  • Reviewing and analysing the daily operational needs; maintaining food and beverage, labour, product, and expenses on budget
  • Leading and motivating the team to continuously deliver guest experience in line with our service culture
  • Overall responsibility for financial KPOs and KPIs relating to gross revenue, costs of goods sold, employee costs and other operating costs in line with budget
  • Accurate forecasting of business activity and associated costs

 

What we are looking for:   

  • Extensive Management experience in a cocktail/beverage bars environment 
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and thorough knowledge of beverages
  • Proactive and well-rounded leader who can empower and encourage the team to deliver a personalised and professional service to all guests 
  • Confidence to lead a large and diverse team across a 24/7 roster
  • Hands-on operational approach with passion for developing your career

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Food & Beverage Leadership team at The Star.
