The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

Joining our team as an Apprentice Chef in the Star Culinary Institute (SCI) program is the perfect place to complete your apprenticeship, recognized industry wide due to the variety of cooking and service styles you are exposed to over the 3 year program . We aim to provide you with the ingredients for success. When you bring professionalism, passion and a positive attitude, you'll enjoy learning the first-rate skills you need to be equipped with for a career in Culinary.

About us 

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.   

When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.
