Join the team as the Night Auditor at The Star Brisbane.

The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

As a Night Auditor at The Star Grand Hotel, you will be responsible for the overnight operations of the hotel while continuing to deliver outstanding service to our guests.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections as one of the first and last interactions our guests will experience.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Provide outstanding guest service to guests during their stay 
  • Manage all guests requests and maintain guest accounts 
  • Sound knowledge of local attractions and surrounds 
  • Perform check in and check out in a professional, friendly, and efficient way
  • Perform and complete daily tasks in line with shift checklists 
  • Respond to reservation requests in an efficient manner

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive guest service experience in Front Office with night audit experience highly regarded
  • Confident in issue resolution, problem solving and decision making
  • Good computer skills with knowledge of property management systems (Opera highly regarded)
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work across a night roster from 10:30am – 7:30am
