As the Fire and Emergency Preparedness Manager reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Security Development & Capability, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive emergency response plans, fire safety strategies, and training programs. Your expertise will be vital in mitigating risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety throughout our organisation.

A few of your responsibilities:
- Maintain the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) Membership Register per AS3745 standards
- Conduct annual review of The Star Sydney Emergency Management Plan and present recommended changes
- Liaise with Property Tenants on emergency preparedness, response, and training needs
- Monitor local/global threat trends related to emergency management and provide relevant advice
- Conduct/coordinate all internal site emergency preparedness training adhering to regulations to support ECO, Asset Protection, and other business units
- Conduct training/assessments for new personnel on Emergency Preparedness, Management & Response
What we are looking for:
- Industry experience relevant to the role with sound working knowledge of AS3745 AS1851 AS1670 AS2118
- Experience with Emergency Response methodology and practice, Emergency Related Systems and Alarms and Emergency Related Infrastructure & Equipment
- Managing and Leading Emergency Response
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis or willingness to obtain
- Current Security License Class 1A 2AD or willingness to obtain
