We are seeking an experienced Risk and Governance Reporting Manager to develop, implement and embed a Risk and Governance reporting function for the organisation that provide reporting insights at Board, executive and operational level.
A few of your responsibilities:
This vital role will provide thought leadership, coaching & mentoring to build change capability within the organisation, specifically this will involve:
- Reporting for the Chief Risk Office to Board, Executive and the Business.
- Will require an ability to connect complex data and systems to develop a reporting framework that provides oversight to fully understand and action the risks of the organisation.
- Working with mapping & understanding business processes, technology, data, and information to quickly draw out insight in complex situations.
- Drive and embed new risk and governance frameworks and processes.
- Participate and provide governance guidance in relevant management committees.
- Responsible for the development, oversight and leadership of the governance and reporting to the Executive Risk Committee, Regulators and Risk submissions for the Board/Board risk, Compliance and Regulatory Performance Committee.
- Ensure the accurate capture, management and finalisation of agendas, minutes, and actions for the Executive Risk Committee as well as the facilitation of critical reporting and formalisation of agendas for the Board Risk Committee and relevant sub-committees.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements that ensure a continual uplift in the quality of reporting, submissions and governance discussion across the divisional and executive risk committee.
About You:
The ideal individual will need to demonstrate and ability to think strategically and adapt to a rapidly changing environment where reporting requests will be evolving and changing regularly from different stakeholders. They will need to ensure that all reporting is performed in an accurate and timely manner to meet the requirements of the various stakeholders both internal and external. Additionally, they will have the following;
- The person will be a subject matter expert and have excellent collaboration skills with a wide range of key stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of governance and risk and the ability to interpret requirements and apply them in a practical way.
- Tertiary qualifications, or extensive experience in the relevant field.
- Solution motivated, self-starter and resilient
