As a Property Operations Technician (Carpenter), you will be responsible for maintaining all joinery, fittings and furniture across the property, along with preparing cost estimates for minor in house projects. From constructing and installing woodwork features to maintaining and repairing existing structures, your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our world-class properties.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and deliver on-time project completion
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed, adhering to strict quality and safety protocols
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, offering insights and suggestions to enhance processes and quality
What are we looking for:
- Recognised Carpentry/Joinery trade qualification
- Knowledge of building processes and WPH&S including preventative maintenance
- Ability to identify hazards and risks and provide appropriate control measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
