Talent Acquisition Compliance Advisor – Onboarding

As our Talent Acquisition Compliance Advisor, reporting to the Head of People Governance and Risk, you will work within the Onboarding team to ensure that recruitment and hiring processes meet legal and organisational standards, supporting The Star’s commitment to ethical and compliant business practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all compliance requirements are met across Talent Acquisition, contributing to our purpose of creating fun at trusted destinations.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits of recruitment and hiring processes to ensure legal and policy compliance
  • Provide guidance on compliance-related issues, including visa sponsorship
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to hiring compliance
  • Deliver training to recruiters and hiring managers on compliance topics
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruitment legislation and update ATS records accordingly

What we are looking for:

  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and recruitment regulations
  • 3+ years’ experience in talent acquisition or compliance roles
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
  • Self-starter with strong organisational and time management skills

You are confident working in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable delivering training, and are always looking for ways to improve systems and processes.
