The Front Office Manager, reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager, provides the chance to take ownership and inspire your team to surpass guest expectations by genuinely dedicating yourself to delivering excellent service. Your primary focus will be improving customer service, enhancing team member performance, and fostering development to ensure an elevated experience for our guests.

A few of your responsibilities
- Ensure the Front Office team is led with professionalism, efficiency, and effectiveness daily
- Oversee customer relations and carpark operations to create unforgettable experiences while promoting a positive work atmosphere for the team
- Manage guest queries and concerns with a diplomatic and empathetic approach
- Control the Front Office labour costs and operating expenses while ensuring operational requirements and service levels are met
- Clearly demonstrate our commitment to service excellence through effective implementation and delivery of The Star values
- Encourage and demonstrate a positive working relationship across all departments at The Star Grand
What we will be looking for
- Previous experience in hotel management
- Experience in Opera PMS will be advantageous
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management
- Strong organisation and time management skills
About you
You will be an experienced hotel professional, with previous leadership experience, and have familiarity utilising Opera PMS. In addition, you will be highly passionate in delivering guest excellence and have demonstrated experience leading and developing teams to success. You will bring a collaborative and welcoming mindset and understand the importance of embedding this culture within your team.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our hotel operations team at The Star Grand.
