Compliance Officer – Governance, Risk & Compliance

About the role:

As our Compliance Officer, reporting to the Head of Group Compliance you will play a critical role in ensuring TSEG maintains its high standards of compliance, contributing to a culture of accountability and sustainable business practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will support the business in navigating regulatory landscapes, fostering strong compliance awareness, and delivering impactful compliance initiatives aligned with The Star’s vision.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain compliance programs to support compliance strategies.
• Assist with the review and update of internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
• Maintain the Group policy register, assist with annual review process and approval
• Support the monitoring of obligations and regulatory updates  
• Prepare draft compliance reports and summaries for internal stakeholders
• Provide Line 2 support to property business units

What we are looking for:

• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and drive meaningful action.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills to foster a culture of accountability.
• Be a self-starter and self-sufficient with the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience within Breach and Conflict of Interest reporting is desired.

With strong interpersonal skills, you excel in engaging stakeholders and delivering effective compliance programs.
