The Casino Cashier role reports directly to the Cash Services Supervisor and is responsible for greeting guests and providing high-quality services for gaming related transactions. Exceptional Customer Service is at the forefront of this role as well as the opportunity for you to put your skills and knowledge to the test and upskill in multiple areas of Cage Operations.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that service delivery is timely, effective and efficient
- Handle all customer queries and complaints in line with policies and procedures, and provide feedback to the Cash Services Supervisor
- Maintain a good knowledge of The Star Sydney amenities, local services and surrounding attractions and promote effective communication by ensuring that all co-workers maintain the same level of knowledge
- Participate in all pre/post shift briefings to assist with a smooth transition and handover between shifts, thereby avoiding interruption to or jeopardising the quality of service
What we are looking for:
- Must be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster
- Experience with high volume cash handling
- Experience within a customer service environment
- Ability to lead with integrity and great attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
About you:
You will demonstrate a commitment to providing a world class guest service whilst maintaining efficient and accurate operations of the Cage Operations. You’re flexible and available to work any shift within a 24/7 roster, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
