As our Internal Audit Senior Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager Internal Audit, you will deliver an agile, insightful and sought after internal audit service that supports The Star’s strategic objectives and risk management framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will work collaboratively across the business to support a strong assurance culture and contribute to the delivery of the annual internal audit plan.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Support audit planning, risk assessment, scoping, perform data analytics, conduct fieldwork, and deliver audits to expected standards.
  • Build relationships with key property personnel and support a collaborative Three Lines of Assurance (3LoA) approach.
  • Draft succinct reports that identify issues and address genuine root causes.
  • Deliver audits and the annual plan on time, adhering to quality practices and the IA Operating Manual.
  • Support the delivery of Internal Audit Scorecard KPIs and the IAA Remediation Plan.

What we are looking for:

  • Internal audit experience in highly regulated, commercially complex organisations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound data analytics capability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and meet strict deadlines.

About you:

You are a motivated and detail-oriented audit professional with experience in internal audit, compliance audit, or a similar risk management role. You bring a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to assurance delivery.

Your role will be pivotal in supporting the integrity and effectiveness of The Star’s internal controls and risk management processes, contributing to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
