The Star Entertainment Group is seeking an experienced and visionary Group Manager of Leadership Development to drive the capability uplift of leaders across our organisation. Leading a small, high-impact team, this role will play a key part in shaping leadership culture and enabling business transformation at all levels—from frontline to senior executives.
A few of your responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, Learning & Development, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving The Star’s leadership development offering for 900+ leaders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable leadership programs aligned with organisational goals and values.
- Partner with business leaders and HR business partners to diagnose capability needs across levels and functions.
- Oversee delivery through a network of facilitators and external partners across multiple sites.
- Measure and report on the impact of leadership development initiatives.
- Coach and develop a small internal team to deliver great outcomes.
What we are looking for:
You are a strategic and hands-on L&D leader with a strong track record in delivering impactful leadership solutions in complex, regulated, or fast-paced environments. We are looking for you to bring:
- Extensive experience in enterprise-level leadership and capability development.
- Expertise in learning strategy, capability frameworks, and program measurement.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence at senior levels.
- Deep knowledge of adult learning, facilitation, and modern learning technologies.
- Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Industry experience in hospitality, gaming, or regulated sectors (desirable).
About you:
You are an experienced corporate affairs professional, with appropriate tertiary qualifications, and have shown your ability to work in small, fast paced teams.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting the Chief Operating Officer and the General Manager of Corporate Affairs and you will need to demonstrate the personal and people leadership to shape the ongoing success of the business.
