Join our team as a Porter at The Treasury Hotel, Brisbane.   

The Porter, reporting to the Senior Porter, is the primary point of contact for our valued guests and visitors. Your role will be diverse, from delivering luggage to guest rooms and parking or retrieving vehicles, to offering insights on local attractions and events to our guests.  

A few of your responsibilities  

  • Transport and store luggage as required by guests  
  • Ensure efficient and courteous handling of all guest arrivals and departures  
  • Ensure all guest enquiries and requests are handled professionally  
  • Ensure current familiarity with hotel, including guest rooms, restaurants, bars, convention, and casino  
  • Park and collect guest / patrons’ vehicles promptly and without damage  
  • Complete all valet dockets clearly and correctly  
  • Assist Doorman as required  

What we will be looking for  

  • A sincere dedication to delivering exceptional customer service 
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity  
  • Valid driver's licence  
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills  
  • Affinity for the Brisbane area, including knowledge of the local community and its surroundings 
  • Strong organizational skills for coordinating guest requests and tasks  
  • Ability to work seamlessly within a team environment 

About You 

We are seeking dedicated individuals who have a sincere appreciation to deliver exceptional customer service. As a Porter with The Treasury Hotel, you will have prior experience in a similar role and hold a valid driver’s license.  

The ideal candidate will have exceptional presentation and communications skills, while possessing a vast knowledge of the Brisbane area.
