The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all new starters, internal transfers and contractors within The Star Sydney.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test and deliver a thrilling new era for our Talent Acquisition team.
A few of your responsibilities
- Complete all required probity checks for new hires, internal transfers, and contractors
- Coordinate with relevant departments to conduct background checks and other pre-employment screenings
- Liaise with new hires to collect, verify, and process onboarding documentation
- Prepare and issue employment contracts for new starters
- Schedule new hires for Welcome Day sessions, coordinating with the Learning & Development team as needed
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing and delivering high-potential talent aligned with business needs
What we are looking for
- Experience in a Human Resources role advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills and accurate record-keeping
- Ability to work across multiple spreadsheets and systems to ensure the completion of all required probity checks for new starters, internal transfers and contractors
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), PageUp advantageous
- Comfortable working in high-volume, fast-paced compliance, recruitment or talent environments

You are a detail-oriented and proactive administrative professional with a strong track record in providing high-quality support. You excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments and remain calm and focused when faced with multiple priorities.
You enjoy learning new systems and processes and understand the importance of maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance. You enjoy working independently and completing tasks to support your team provides you with a strong sense of accomplishment.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Talent Acquisition team at The Star Sydney.
