As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will play a key role in achieving operational, financial, and strategic objectives. Your sharp attention to detail, commitment to delivering a world-class guest experience, and ability to lead and inspire a large, diverse team will be essential to your success.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of both our team and guests at The Darling.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Manage and develop the daily operations ensuring departmental objectives are achieved
  • Set daily performance objectives for the Housekeeping Services Supervisors
  • Monitor and manage team members absenteeism, annual leave, time and attendance
  • Support training and career development for the housekeeping department

What we are looking for:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience within a hotel
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and act on guest requests appropriately
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster including weekends
  • Experience building positive working relationships between departments and within the team
