As our Senior Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for delivering high quality, customer service oriented general accounting services for The Star Gold Coast ensuring delivery to deadlines and compliance with Group policies.

A few of your responsibilities:
- Perform financial accounting services for the property/function including journal preparation, month end GL close, balance sheet reconciliations, basic management reporting and tax support.
- Deliver monthly reporting to business partners including Balance Sheets, reconciliation summaries and P&L analysis.
- Prepare reporting packs for The Star Gold Coast and property business units where required
- Investigate and resolve transactional issues (such as misallocations, late adjustments, inter-company mismatches)
- Perform analysis of P&L to assist with month end processing
- Investigation and resolution of internal accounting process or control issues
What we are looking for:
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to independently problem solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CA/CPA qualified
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting role for 5 years or more
- Computer skills (Oracle, TM1, Advanced Excel)
