This is a central leadership role in the People and Performance department, reporting into the CPO, offering an extraordinary opportunity, working across the Group on key enterprise-wide initiatives.

As the People Governance and Risk Manager, you have a pivotal role focussing on driving excellence in governance and risk management within the People and Performance team. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and innovation, ensuring our people strategies align with organisational goals and best practices.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Develop and implement governance frameworks and risk management strategies to support organisational objectives.
• Monitor and assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, mitigate, and manage risks effectively.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on governance and risk-related matters to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organisational performance and resilience.

What we are looking for: 

• You will need to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with superior influencing strategies across multiple stakeholder streams.  
• Proven track record of designing and implementing compliance programs, requiring high governance and reporting.
• Exceptional leadership and team management within a high governance listed environment.
• Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional team environment

You are an experienced leader with the appropriate tertiary qualifications and are highly motivated and driven. You will have demonstrated the personal leadership to shape the ongoing success of a business.
