The Operations Manager reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, is responsible for engaging, coaching and developing a world class team to create truly memorable experiences for our VIP Members and guests by sharing your passion and knowledge with your team, encouraging them to shine and be their best selves to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Further, we are looking for a leader who can drive fiscal performance including revenue and profitability whilst ensuring that we maintain employee engagement and our compliance obligations.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for our Main gaming floor bars and Sovereign room which operate on 24 hours, 7 days a week basis.
- Ensuring the highest standards of service is maintained in Sovereign lounge, dining and chairman’s.( members only venue)
- Reviewing and analysing the daily operational needs maintaining beverage, labour, product, and expenses on budget.
- Leading and motivating the team to continuously deliver guest experience in line with our service culture.
- Personally monitor team member performance on the floor with a ‘hands on’ approach ensuring that the is the appropriate level of coverage from venue leadership and team members.
- Provide recommendations for guest, team, operational or compliance improvements to Director of F&B operations.
- Awareness and implementation of compliance and duty of care operational requirements such as Responsible service of Alcohol and responsible gaming.
What we are looking for:
- You will be hands-on in your operational approach and be passionate about developing your career within hospitality.
- Understanding of guest experience and how to deliver in a premium, 24/7 VIP setting – recognition of regular guests and their personal needs.
- Outstanding standards, professionalism, and a commitment to guest service.
- Extensive venue management experience in large high-volume bars, restaurants and lounge including organisation of events such as superbowl, music events and activations. Casino and licensee experience highly regarded.
- A passion for service – someone who loves to build rapport with your regular guests!
- Confidence to lead a large and diverse team that provides service day and night.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail skills are highly regarded.
- A transparent, thoughtful and consistent approach to team communications.
- Ability to build an engaged team that understands their purpose and role at all levels.

As the Operations Manager, you will be highly organised and detail-oriented with a proven track record of successfully managing and motivating large teams. Your exceptional communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration to ensure operational success.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Food & Beverage Leadership team.
