As our Due Diligence Review Manager reporting to the Head of Customer Due Diligence, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of complex and in-depth due diligence, vetting and screening actions in support of The Star’s AML/CTF Program

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will effectively collate, analyse and evaluate complex information from a range of sources including commercial and open-source database

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Identify and classify potential AML/CTF related risk.
  • Accurately update TrackVia and CMS, with revised risk ratings and concise summaries of due diligence findings. Compile in depth diligence reports as required
  • Work in an efficient manner to complete all work tasks accurately and within the allotted timeframe, support and mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration and respect.
  • Conduct complex due diligence in accordance with both the AML/CTF Program and the mandatory ECDD Standing Operating Procedures.
  • Apply sound judgement, expertise and knowledge to make independent decisions and escalate red flags and due diligence cases of note where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain conducive working relationships with key stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a due diligence, intelligence, investigative or compliance related environment; and/or Tertiary studies in a subject which requires a high level of critical analysis and independent research is desirable, e.g. Law, Criminology, Economics, Accounting.
  • Management experience, leading small teams.
  • Possess industry relevant Membership Associations and globally recognised Accreditations.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Proficient in Chinese characters/text will be favourably viewed.
  • High level research, analytical critical thinking skills and the proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

With a strong eye for detail, you excel in evaluating financial, regulatory, and reputational risks, ensuring compliance and integrity in decision-making. Your ability to lead reviews, provide strategic insights, and collaborate across teams makes you a key driver in maintaining high standards and safeguarding business interests.

Your role will be pivotal in driving impactful outcomes and shaping future solutions by enhancing due diligence processes, strengthening risk frameworks, and supporting informed decision-making.
