As our Chef de Cuisine in our Fat Noodle operation, reporting to our Executive Sous Chef, you will be a natural leader in the kitchen and bring the best out of your team every day.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of our guests ensuring that every dish that leaves your kitchen is consistent and delicious.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Be accountable for leading all aspects of team management
- Participate in menu preparation and pricing policies
- Develop training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions
- Ensure an open line of communication between the team, management and guests.
- Attract and retain the right talent into the business.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Senior Chef with relevant industry qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Experience managing a lively and fast-paced team
- Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full working rights to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week working varied shifts, including weekends, public holidays, late nights and early mornings

You are a passionate and creative leader, willing to share your skills and expertise in guiding and shaping those who are new or experienced to a fast-paced kitchen.
With exceptional communication skills, you enjoy collaborating with colleagues and management as well as interacting with our customers. You bring a proactive, positive attitude to every task and are committed to consistently delivering high standards. Your role will be pivotal for Fat Noodle's success.
