As our Housekeeping Manager, you will be at the forefront in maintaining impeccable cleanliness and comfort throughout the Dorsett Hotel. Collaborating closely with our Executive Housekeeper, you will ensure the highest standards of service through effective rostering, people management, planning, budgeting, training, and productivity control.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Lead the operational requirements of the housekeeping department and provide leadership and direction to achieve the department's objectives
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper in the development and implementation of business plans
  • Partner with other operational teams to ensure the smooth operations of the Dorsett Hotel
  • Ensure that operations are within budgetary requirements for labour, product and operational expenses
  • Resolve customer service queries and concerns with diplomacy and tact
  • Manage team members and complete all people planning requirements including recruitment, training and development and performance management

What are we looking for

  • Previous experience in leading a large and diverse team with high-performance standards within a hotel environment
  • Proficient with computers and relevant hotel systems and software (Opera Cloud highly regarded)
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience developing excellent guest-related standards such as customer service, communication, and grooming
  • Flexible availability to suit business requirements
