Breach Analyst

Join The Star Brisbane as a Breach Analyst and help strengthen our compliance framework in a dynamic and highly regulated environment. In this role, you'll support the end-to-end breach management process, assisting with breach assessments, investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of effective remediation plans.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to maintain accurate breach records, prepare regulatory notifications, and contribute to governance reporting and compliance monitoring activities. Through analysing breach trends and supporting the delivery of meaningful insights, you'll help identify opportunities to improve controls, reduce risk, and enhance compliance outcomes. What we’re looking for:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate incidents, identify trends, and support effective breach remediation outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications.
• An interest in risk, compliance, governance, or regulatory affairs, with prior experience in these areas considered highly desirable.
• A collaborative team player who can build effective relationships with stakeholders while managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality work.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with experience preparing reports, presentations, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• A willingness to develop and apply knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Queensland Casino Control Act, AML/CTF obligations, and broader compliance frameworks.

2-4 years’ experience within the casino, hospitality, finance, audit, law or another regulated industry will be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right candidate.
