Lead the future of risk, compliance, and governance at The Star Brisbane as our Breach & Governance Manager. In this critical leadership role, you will drive breach management, governance excellence, and risk reporting, delivering actionable insights that strengthen compliance performance and support informed decision-making across the business. You'll lead a high-performing team, partner with senior leaders, and provide expert guidance on emerging risks, regulatory obligations, and remediation strategies.

With responsibility for reporting to executive leadership, governance forums, and regulatory bodies, you'll play a key role in enhancing compliance maturity and fostering a proactive risk culture. What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in risk management, compliance, audit, legal, or a regulated gaming environment, with a strong understanding of contemporary risk and governance practices.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland casino regulatory requirements, AML/CTF obligations, and risk governance frameworks, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, assess risk exposures, and deliver practical, business-focused solutions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence decision-making and present complex risk and compliance matters to senior leaders and governance forums.
• A collaborative and values-driven leader with a strong ethical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

We're looking for candidates with 6-8 years' experience within the casino, hospitality, or gaming industry. Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
