The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Venue Manager and offers and extraordinary opportunity to lead a team in delivering the daily operations of the venue.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the opportunity to create a unique dining experience for our guests, take good care, and lead a dynamic team with integrity.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Assist Venue Manager to lead and support achievement of financial and operational targets
  • Oversee operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management
  • Assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of service standards and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure that all areas of the business comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol program and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act
  • Assist in managing the selection, training and development of all employees to ensure timely recruitment and career growth

 

What we are looking for:

  • Management experience within in a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests
  • Current RSA Statement of Attainment
  • Flexible with availability for work over a 7-day roster
