A great opportunity has arisen in our Food & Beverage Department as the Booking Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will maximise our Food & Beverage operations by converting enquiries to bookings delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring familiarity and knowledge of the property. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Processing restaurant reservations and group bookings using designated systems 

• Booking Private Gaming Tables, Private Booths, Cabanas and Packages 

• Hosting clients for tailored site inspections including making recommendations to clients with the selection of menus, discuss minimum spend requirements, theming and AV options 

• Confirming final numbers and dietary requirements in set time frames 

• Ensuring thorough communication of all event information to the relevant restaurants and departments 

What are we looking for? 

• Professional phone manner and email etiquette with high attention to detail and strong time management skills 

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills 

• A thorough knowledge of The Star Gold Coast restaurants and property 

• Knowledge of Opera advantageous 

• Flexible availability to suit business needs
