A rare opportunity to influence, create and innovate
Reporting to the Public Relations & Communications Director, the Communications Specialist will fulfil a 9-month contract role to drive PR and publicity campaigns during a particularly exciting time for the company. As a major partner of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and in a key phase of the property’s redevelopment, we’re looking for an energetic and passionate PR professional to join the team to develop and deliver a variety of creative communications.
A dynamic and fast paced role where you hold the cards for the Comms team!
The Communications Manager role requires a self-starter with a genuine passion for media relations, publicity programs and internal communications. The successful candidate will know how to write creatively within a highly regulated corporate environment, have previously led large projects and be able to manage collaborative working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This role will liaise closely with the property’s Marketing team, Operations teams on the Gold Coast and external stakeholders.
Having obtained relevant tertiary qualifications in media or communications, you will have established a broad network of connections in media, community and business. Previous experience in gaming and/or hospitality would be advantageous, however we are seeking career-minded communications professionals with an appetite for new opportunities in a dynamic industry.
